All started with the Gods


October, 11th 2016.

In this time I will talk about the origin of the days of the week and the months.

Saturn Devouring his sons 
The days of the week.

Sunday: "sun" "day", it's the personification of a God, Sunna
Monday: it mean "day of the moon" it's the personification of the God Máni.
Tuesday: Day of Tiw. He was a God. It is associated with the planet Mars.
Wednesday: "Days of Mercury" it's the representation of the God Wodan, Mercury and Wodan are guides for the souls after dead.
Thursday: The Day of Jupiter. Jupiter represents Zeus, the god of the sky.
Friday: Day of the God Fríge. And represent to the planet Venus.
Saturday: It's the only one that have its original name. It represent the God Cronos, father of Zeus (God of the sky), Poseidon (God of the sea) and Hades (God of the underworld). Exists a popular painting call: Saturn Devouring his sons. 


The moths of the year.

January: It name is Lanuro, represents the God Lano. He was the protector of the doors.
February: By Numa Pompilio, dedicated to Pluto.
March: It becomes of Mars, the God of the war. The God of the war is Ares.
April: It rised up for Venus, it dedicated to fertility. 
May: Represents the older people.
June: It becomes of the word Junior.
July: It made reference to Julio César.
August: It made reference to Augusto king.
September: Made reference to seventh, ordinal numbers.
October:Made reference to eight, ordinal numbers.
November: Made reference to ninth, ordinal numbers.
December: Made reference to tenth, ordinal numbers.

I think that is very interesting, I love all this things and really enjoy to do the investigation
